"Jamestown has a lot of hills. Numerous building styles along the ridges and slopes provide endless scenes of interest to a landscape painter. As a child, I was fascinated by the way Jamestown looked. In those days there were stunning views of the lake, the Armory, and from Swede Hill. Jamestown has since become heavily forested and many breathtaking scenes go unnoticed. Short of wielding a chainsaw, I have attempted to uncover scenes that are still there with my paint brushes." -Peter Miraglia
