Join us for light hors d'oeuvres and beverages as we celebrate new works by both local and international artists, each of whom, embody thoughts of home and place in their work.

American artist Robert Sakson beautifully depicts a by-gone downtown Jamestown in his large format watercolor paintings.

Oil paintings by Jaroslav Leonets give us a window into his home landscape near Kiev, Ukraine. Local artists Angela Caley, William Disbro, Mary McCague, Michael Weishan , Sara Baker Michalak, Ashley Pickering, Dan Vanderzyden and George Weidenhofer draw us into their paintings and original photography with destinctive depections of their physical and emotional homes.

Artists Joseph Grice and Ann Brantingham will be in the gallery demonstrating their work throughout the evening. Both artists draw inspiration from our local landscape, depicting regional birds and foliage is central to their art practices.
