Saturdays, February 3 - March 9
Join Leslie Calimeri, owner of Chautauqua Art Gallery, to read through acclaimed art teacher Betty Edwards's guide to mixing colors. In this six-session book club, we will move through Edwards's book together, discussing the theories and going through each exercise step-by-step. Supplies and books are included when you sign up for the book club - or you can bring your own. All sessions will be recorded and released to the group members if you can't make a session or need a little review.
About the book:
Edwards provides a basic understanding of how to see color, how to use it, and- for those involved in art, painting, or design- how to mix and combine hues. It includes more than 125 color images and exercises that move from simple to challenging.
